CMD — nice work

February 5, 2009

I think the presentations went very well this morning. Going first can be scary. I expect the next two groups to learn from this experience and keep raising the bar…

The formatting was much improved over last semester’s work. Keep on thinking about the reader. Additionally, I think it’s OK to place words about a link on the page rather than a full URL. Full URLs are probably best for referencing, but you might want to think about shrinking the font on those so that the don’t wrap on the page, etc.

You should also think about working from the site, rather than as a logged in editor. This is what others will see, your links will work in a more natural way, and you’ll have more room on the scree with the editing tools removed.

Don’t forget to introduce yourself.

One last thing on my mind, I really thought the presentation of brain parts/mods/areas went well. It was simple material, but I liked that it was written and shared in thorough way on the site, then presented not by reading words, but by using images. We can all go back and read the info ourselves. Your shared info and your presentation can be different things.

Here is the link….

I hope to see everyone this afternoon. I realize that many of you choose not to come to class and learn with me, I only hope you can give your peers more respect. In addition, I hope that they have created a great resource for you and that we can all learn something

Module one is coming along really well, I think this group will set a nice, high bar. I’m excited about the presentation.

Hey Group Scholars,

Everyone should have gotten an email from me (chuckrob at gmail dot com) that shared a link to your particular groups shared document… Keep that email and try to get to the shared document.

Here are the 3 blank documents:

Here is a brief description of what we will be doing for the collaborative media development portion of our class.
