Collaborative testing over memory on Thursday
November 4, 2009
I did not share your grades on the independent exam becasue I want you to be open to learning from and teaching each other on your collaborative exams. I took a quick look and it appears most folks were very successful on the exam.
You can continue to study and learn without the test score as feedback. Be smart and study with wisdom. Might try applying some of what you learned about the memory system to your life. You will be successful an learn the material at the same time.
Cog Class this week: reviewing for the memory exam
October 25, 2009
Scholars,
We have finished the memory material. The collaborative media presentations are set for Thursday, Oct 29th. I am going to give you Tuesday to review (group two can meet and prep, maybe group 3 too). If the review is short on Thursday I might share one or two quick demos with you from the organizational material. Please use your time on Tuesday wisely.
I have updated our tentative schedule
October 20, 2009
… it is now slightly less tentative
you may find it here. This puts the group 2 presentation on the 29th.

I’ll be sending out a note pertaining to class tomorrow (Thursday 9/8) in a little bit. Check it and follow through.
Test Questions ???
October 6, 2009
I’ve set up a blog on our VISTA site to discuss test questions (perhaps some errors in the randomizing of answers. Don’t sweat weird spelling on fill in the blanks.)
Read the directions and work together in that spot. The postings should be anonymous.

cog test one
September 28, 2009
Our first exam is tomorrow during our class time. You’ll have 80 minutes to take this open book, open note exam. You are expected to work alone during this process. Take your time and learn something. I’d suggest you check and make sure your pop up blocker is off. If you successfully taken the practice quiz you should have no technical problems
On Thursday we will take our collaborative exam in class together. Bring a pencil and your brain.
After that we start our module on the greatest topic in all of psychology… memory!
